De koelcapaciteitscurves zijn gebaseerd op de olietemperatuur naar de koeler en de huidige luchttemperatuur. Bijvoorbeeld, bij een olietemperatuur van 60 °C en een luchttemperatuur van 20 °C, bedraagt het temperatuurverschil 40 °C. Om het totale koelvermogen te bepalen, vermenigvuldigt u de waarde met het koelvermogen in kW/°C.
