Voor het afdichten van cilindrische schroefdraden moeten geschikte afdichtingsschijven, afdichtingsrandringen of O-ringen worden gebruikt. Afwijkende temperatuurbereiken zijn mogelijk in combinatie met DVGW-goedkeuring en speciale media.

Abdichten von »im Gewinde dichtenden Verbindungen« wie NPT-Gewinde nach ASME B 1.20.1 oder R-Gewinde nach ISO 7-1.
