Deze ventielen worden gebruikt om de oliestroom naar de respectieve verbruikers te regelen of te blokkeren.
Dit kan bijvoorbeeld worden gebruikt om de snelheid van cilinderbewegingen te regelen of om een kortstondige vasthoudfunctie te realiseren.

Met snelkoppeling mof NPT 3/8″ -18, kogelafdichting.
